Triple Play Lotto By the Book

by admin on April 9, 2012

Triple Play Lotto is a lottery game that is conducted in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The jackpot starts at $30,000 and continues to increase each time no one claims the prize and continues to increase until a winner is produced.

At $2.00 per play, you get two quick picks for free for each set of numbers that you decide to play. Basically, you are getting three plays for two dollars, hence the name “Triple Play Lotto.” And this lottery is very easy to play. All players have to do is select five numbers between the numbers of one and forty-five and make sure those numbers are marked on the play slip. Unfortunately, mental notes do not count when claiming winnings.

The player can either select the numbers on their own or have the terminal select the numbers for them. Letting the terminal randomly generate the numbers is called a Triple Play quick pick and can either be marked on the play slip or the player simply tells the lottery retailer that they want to use the quick pick option.

After the numbers are picked by the player, the player must wait for the Triple Play drawing every Tuesday and Friday at 6:50 p.m. Eastern. The winners win cash prizes by matching three or more numbers on any single line or by matching four or more numbers on all three lines together. The jackpot is won when a player matches all five numbers on a single line. There are several different combinations that constitutes winning.

So if you are into the lottery and haven’t tried Triple Play Lotto, you may want to give it a try. Play your favorite numbers, play everyone’s birthday, or play what numbers you feel are winners. No matter what you do, you can have fun playing and enjoy the suspense, but don’t get disappointed because you can try again next time.
